When I saw the masterpost at sncross_bigbang, I immediately bookmarked your story. Now that I finally had the chance to read it, I'm sad that I didn't do so earlier.
Maglor is one of my favorite characters from The Silmarillion, and I love your characterization of him. I also love the way you blended the SPN and Silmarillion canons together. And thank you for fixing the vessel issue, I really find that aspect of angel-dom disturbing, as much as I love Castiel.
Also, I literally squeed in RL when Castiel, and later Gabriel, appeared! Then I squeed again when I read in your notes that you're writing a sequel to this. Good news is a gift that keeps on giving when it comes to your story, I guess :D
