A/N: AU for Supernatural post-“Everybody Hates Hitler” and for Person of Interest from “Proteus.” Setting “Proteus” on or near the episode’s airdate runs into some complications on the SPN side, so I’ve set this story at a date that works better with the SPN timeline. (And before anyone asks, I have no idea whether or when I’ll come up with a sequel. I have too many WIPs to commit to more right now, and so far this is feeling like a stand-alone. However, if you want more SPN/POI goodness, I can rec emebalia’s excellent Even Monsters Have a Social, which I enjoyed long before I got into POI.)
